This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

I think that you will find that you and I have a lot in common.  Friday hits – or Thirsty Thursday arrives – and you can’t wait to go out with your girls.

But after putting in several hours at the gym all week and eating properly, you struggle the morning after to determine if the fun times were worth it.  Those beers just destroyed Tuesday’s run.  Those extra shots left you too hung over the next day to wake up early for yoga.

So many of us like to party but also want to live our healthiest life.  Will our desires to stay fit collide with our urge to go out and enjoy a cocktail?  I’m here to prove that both aspects of your person do not have to cause you to crash and burn.

How to mix staying healthy and partying may seem like a silly dilemma.  However, the reality is that both your health and your social life are central to your being.  Without your health, you won’t be alive to know your grandchildren.  But all the happiness in the world isn’t worth anything if you don’t have anyone to share it with.  Many of our greatest memories come from nights out with friends and family.

I’ve been a serious athlete for almost a decade and have now begun a career in nutrition and fitness.  But I’m still your go-to girl for knowing where the party is.

Watch out SD… I’m about to be the Healthiest Chick in the Bar.
